I really wish that we could schedule sales.
For an email campaign, it would be nice to be able to use the same link so that readers can go back to an email and click on the link to access the sale.
But, if I use the coupon link, the reader of the email will get access to the sale before it starts.
Example:
Email one:
Reminds potential students that there is a one week sale starting tomorrow
Encourages Students to preview the course(a link that does not have a sale yet, but will have a sale price tomorrow ) use banner across top to notify sales starts Aug 11 ends Aug 18 -this is so a student can familiarize themselves with the course content and get excited about it
Email 1 encourages people to mark their calendar for tomorrow to check their email for Email 2 ā”ļø that has a link to the sale (or if they return to this email or get it on sale day and open it , click on link it works and leads them to the sale page not to the product page with the original price!
This is impossible to do without the ability to run scheduled sales on products. Because if I use the coupon link for the āpreviewā of the course, they will be able to access the sale ahead of time.
This makes it so I would have to build a landing page for every course. Seems like such a waste of time.
Coupon links and codes creates a lot of complication and they might want to go back to that email on sales day and if click on the āpreview courseā link and they will not see the sale price
The coupon link makes this all a bit convoluted. I wonder if anyone else is going through this and if podia will ever change this and allow us to schedule sales on products rather than or in addition to scheduling coupons?
Also why is the no start date to a coupon? Only and expiration date?
Give me your work arounds a plz and TY!
