Why can’t I complete Google verification on a lower plan — when it’s vital for visibility?

I’ve been building my embroidery education platform on Podia and seeing positive SEO growth — which is great. However, I’ve now run into a serious limitation: while I’ve verified my domain via DNS for Google Search Console, I can’t complete verification for other essential Google services like Publisher Center or Reader Revenue Manager.

These tools require uploading a specific HTML file or adding a meta tag to the site’s <head>, and Podia doesn’t allow that on lower-tier plans.

To be clear, I’m not asking to embed third-party tools, install apps, or load scripts. I’m simply trying to:

  • Prove ownership of my domain to Google (again, in a different format)

  • Apply for services that would increase visibility and trust

  • Do what any independent publisher needs to do to grow their audience

I find it frustrating that this very basic and essential functionality — one that has nothing to do with site design or sales features — is locked behind a higher plan. I currently don’t earn enough to justify upgrading, and otherwise, my plan works well. But this restriction actively prevents small creators from accessing growth tools, search eligibility, and verified visibility.

My request:
Team Podia Please allow creators on all plans to verify their domain using standard methods like:

  • Meta tags

  • HTML file upload
(for Google only — even if limited to one verified platform)

This isn’t a luxury feature. It’s foundational. And it should be accessible to all serious creators using Podia.

Has anyone else faced this? Any ideas or workarounds?
