Loss of revenue due to a highly frictional process for changing subscription plans

Dear Colleagues/Podia Team,

I have created a free membership to attract students, test my service and engage them.

Sometimes, I launch promotional activities to convert free subscribers and registered email students (no membership subscription) to paid members using discount coupons. I use the coupon link inserted in email newsletters or dedicated broadcasts.

But, whenever a free member uses the link to subscribe the pack at the discount price it produces an error and they stop the process. Some of them ask for help, but I presume the majority abandon the process! All the time, I need to send this tutorial so they understand how to upgrade their plan: https://help.podia.com/en/articles/203-how-to-change-the-plan-you-re-enrolled-in

I have addressed this topic several times before, but no answer from Podia. I am seriously looking to move to Freshlearn because of this BIG Problem! Does anyone tried Freshlearn?
