Podia now has more ways to customize the headings on your website and blog! When you add content to your website, you’ll see a new option to set the heading text to H1, H2, H3, or H4 (with H1’s being the biggest and H4’s being the smallest).
With these headings, you can:
Improve the organization of your content
Help search engines figure out the main ideas of each page
Draw your readers to certain parts of the page
This makes it even easier for you to organize your work on your site, and it can help search engines understand the layout of your pages better too!
Updating your headings is a small change that can make a big difference in the look and performance of your website. Podia Pro and course expert Glen Long explains,
“Headings make it easier for people to navigate your ideas (particularly people who scan a post before reading it in full) and they also help search engines like Google understand the most important parts too. In fact, with Google's recent emphasis on helpful content, the more you can help your readers navigate and digest your content, the better your content is likely to rank!
To see how these new heading options can give more structure to your posts, check out this example from Glen’s blog!
You can update your headings right now in the Podia website builder. You can learn more details in this help doc.
